What is PlotFact?
A property-research and deal-finding tool for NC Triangle real-estate investors. It surfaces distressed properties — tax-delinquent, absentee, inherited, code-flagged — from daily county records, with the owner, the numbers and a motivated-seller score.
Which counties are covered?
Wake, Durham, Orange and Johnston today, with more of the Triangle planned. See Data & Coverage for exactly what's covered in each.
How fresh is the data?
We capture a new snapshot of each county's records every day. Every property page shows a per-source "as of" date, and the Fresh Signals feed dates each new lead to the day the change appeared.
Is the data accurate or guaranteed?
All data comes from public records and is provided as-is, without warranty of accuracy, completeness or timeliness. County systems contain errors and lag reality. PlotFact is not a substitute for a title search, appraisal, survey or legal advice — always verify with official county sources before making an offer. Estimates such as ARV, the motivated-seller score and estimated equity are informational models, not statements of value.
What's free, and what's on the Investor plan?
Free accounts get 1 full property report per day plus the live deal map and Fresh Signals feed. The Investor plan ($99/mo) adds unlimited reports, lead-list exports, watchlists, saved properties and Fresh Signals export. See Pricing.
How do I cancel? Do you offer refunds?
Cancel anytime from your Account → Manage subscription, which opens Stripe's customer portal. Cancelling stops future billing and your access continues through the end of the paid period. Monthly fees are non-refundable once a period starts, except where required by law — if you were billed in error, contact us and we'll make it right.
Can I export lead lists?
Yes — lead-list and Fresh Signals CSV export come with the Investor plan. Free browsing shows the same leads on screen, including owner names and amounts.
Is it legal to contact the owners?
Owner-of-record information is public record. Your outreach is your responsibility: you must comply with applicable laws — including do-not-call rules and fair-housing law — and you may not use the data to harass owners or to resell or redistribute it. See our Terms.
